In one of my Biology classes, the teacher was talking about the scientific names for white blood cells. They’re leukocytes, because “leuko-” means white. Someone raised their hand and asked “Does that mean only white people can get leukemia?”

Birds...
When the swine flu was a big scare a few years ago, I overheard people talking about it a lot. There was one line, though, that just made my day when I heard it.
“Swine flu? That’s a bird, you know.”
The best part? The guy was 100% serious. You could tell by the look on his face.
